We are creating first links with music, educating for a life with art. We do this through gentle sessions, filled with stories and characters in high spirits, with a light-hearted and enthusiastic take on the active discovery of sounds, rhythms and movement. Mixing games, exercises and frivolity, these workshops are based on working music methodologies adapted to the cognitive capacity of the participating group, with different formats for age-groups 0-18 months, 18 months-3 years and 3-5 years.

Because creating is better than buying ready-made, Sounds for All encourages an active relationship with music - which means making and enjoying. Often involving scenes on the stage and loveable characters, they demand little and offer a lot. The exploration of sounds, tones and rhythms happens intuitively; comprehension of musical concepts and repertoires comes through experiences; artistic creation is celebrated as a team.
Adapted for each participating group, these sessions reflect our investment in innovative pedagogical approaches that provide immediate positive results. The handling of conventional and electronic instruments, percussion, digital composition or bodily expression are some of the work platforms used here to open the doors to creativity.
The morning just flies by, but on Friday it’s bigger - there’s room for a two-and-a-half-hour workshop that culminates, close to lunchtime, in a short performance. Body percussion, song and instrumental dialogue form the basis for these sessions that are well structured, but open to improvisation, devised for primary school classes and pupils from music schools.

We take no responsibility for the disappearance of negative vibes during these sessions - no matter what the programme, the room will be assaulted by dangerously creative and positive activities. With this duly noted, we inform you that the door is open to over 12s. These workshops provide the opportunity to experience musical creation that is more complete and accessible to anyone, and always finish with a small presentation of the work done. Aimed at the general public (families, groups of friends and individuals can all come), they are held on one Saturday per month.

There’s a lot of collaboration round here. One Saturday per month, we get the whole family taking part in these musical creation workshops, open to anyone, from children aged 6 and over to senior citizens. Grandparents and grandchildren, parents and kids, couples, cousins or in-laws, everyone has a place in 90-minute sessions that thrive on affection and good humour, where teamwork is the greatest reason for their success.
Saturdays · 10:30-12:00 and 14:30-16:00

With us, the kids are all right. While the parents go to the concert in Sala Suggia, on Saturday or Sunday early evenings, their children take part in entertaining activities of musical discovery and creation. With themed content that always goes hand-in-hand with the day’s listening, these workshops, reserved for children aged 3 to 10 years, form a great family programme in which music calmly looks after everyone. This proposal is the result of a protocol with the Porto Polytechnic School of Education.
