Ludwig Van Beethoven Triplo Concerto para piano, violino e violoncelo
Beethoven's Triple Concerto has a distinctive trait: it was the only time that the composer thought of a piece with more than one solo instrument. Piano, violin and cello form the classic chamber music trio, and here they join forces to establish a dialogue with the orchestra. The soloists of this unique performance are the members of the Van Baerle Trio, winners of the Vriendenkrans Competition in 2011, which has since consolidated a solid international reputation - including the recording of Beethoven’s Complete piano trios, which was widely acclaimed by the press. In this concert, included in the celebrations of Beethoven’s 250th birthday, Orquestra Sinfónica also revisits a composer who was considered his worthiest successor in the symphonic panorama - Johannes Brahms.
